"I think about the interesting place that this is in terms of probably a hot development spot that hasn't taken off like others. There's a super block project that was supposed to be a few blocks to the south. This place is the Bromo Arts District and you have the Arena Players and Eubie Blake and parts of an underground neighborhood. For me, this black arts, black space, arts district hasn't been as preserved as the way it should be and I don't know how the legacy as a black arts space will be preserved in the future."

"I mean, I guess I started rollerblading constantly then I bought it in the Fall of 2016. I went through a breakup and I replaced being in a relationship with rollerblading. Sometimes I'll bike around the lake and go on loops; it's pretty meditative."
